With 3 decades of experience as both: an Elite Level Athlete and Certified Physical Preparation Specialist™ [CPPS] (through the National Strength and Conditioning Association) Christopher possesses a rare blend of: education, accreditation and real world, practical experience.  An empathetic and skilled clinical practitioner, Christopher uses the culmination of his knowledge and experiences to meet you—where you are—along your journey toward optimal health and healing.

You can rest assured that Christopher will do everything he can to help you get back in the game, living life on your own terms; better (stronger and faster) than ever before.  Whether that involves an occasional tune-up, complete rehabilitation or a comprehensive and personalized strength, performance and clinical plan—he can help!

Christopher’s journey toward becoming the Certified Manual Therapist [CMT] he is today started in a small borough named Etobicoke, in Ontario, Canada.  Born to an athletic and service-orientated family, with a rich history of playing professional sports and military service it would appear the stage was set for Christopher to follow in his familial footsteps and pursue a dream of being a professional athlete himself.

Early athletic ventures saw Christopher playing a wide variety of sports in his youth: baseball, hockey, street-hockey, lacrosse, soccer, tennis, basketball, golf, martial arts and football.  It was the latter two however, where Christopher’s passions were ignited.  At 13, Christopher started his life-long journey in marital arts training with studies in Goju-Ryu Karate.  The experiences, in this particular dojo, emphasized the necessity for establishing a balance between the rigours of: hard, physical and mentally-demanding training with complimentary, softer modalities of: recovery, recuperation and restoration. The early exposure to—and adoption of—this martial philosophy would serve to inform Christopher's foundational approaches to training, clinical treatment and ultimately life—by extension.

At 16, Christopher would set his sights on a dream of playing professional football in the CFL and dedicate the next 9 years of his life to chasing this pursuit.  While pursuing his Bachelor's Degree from York University he was invited to the 2004 CFL Supplemental Draft at Laval University, in Laval, Quebec, Canada—and 3 subsequent individual Free-Agent workouts with: the Calgary Stampeders (2004), Toronto Argonauts (2011) and Hamilton Ticats (2012).  However, Christopher’s dreams of playing professional football, would go unfulfilled.

In 2005, with a clear passion for physical training and preparation Christopher shifted his focus, drive and intentions towards becoming a Certified Physical Preparation Specialist™, Small Business Owner and Clinician.  This journey would set the course of the next 20 years of his professional life to present day where, most recently, Christopher completed his Diploma in Acupuncture and two additional specializations in Contemporary Medical Acupuncture (McMaster University) and Acupuncture Injection Therapy.

In 2013/14, after a decade of operation, Christopher was confronted with the difficult decision of having to implode his growing commercial gym business in Ontario to pursue personal fulfillment in making a move to BC where, not too long after—October 2014—he met his wife: Jen and Sailor Jack's was launched.  Christopher and Jen make their home in the Lower Mainland / Fraser Valley with their son: Mackenzie.  When not in the clinic, Christopher can be found spending time with his family, riding his motorcycle, golfing, training, reading, travelling—or running one of his several other businesses.

Particular areas of clinical practice that Christopher focuses on:

     •  Neuromusculoskeletal issues.
     •  Sports Performance / Sports Injury / Return-to-play
     •  Shoulder / Hip – Pathologies & Post Operative Recovery
