Jen Gibson, BSN

Strength & Performance Coach

Jennifer is a graduate of Kwantlan Polytechnic University where she completed a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She has worked in a variety of capacities throughout the duration of her 11 year career from palliative care to cardiac and intensive care.

Jennifer has always had a passion for living and leading an active lifestyle.  Some of her fondest memories as child are of times spent on family road trips to Banff, Alberta camping, hiking, cycling and enjoying the great outdoors.

The direction and intention behind her training abruptly changed when she met her husband, Co-Owner and Founder of Sailor Jacks, Christopher.  Admittedly, at first, Jen was intimidated by the idea of training with her husband.  The thought of being evaluated while training was a little bit more than unnerving.  However, curiosity and a passion for continued learning won the best of her and she has been on path of continued learning since - committing to the completion of her designation as a Certified Personal Trainer through the Canadian Personal Trainers Network, accreditation for Kinesio-Taping and specialization in Pre/Post-/Natal Fitness.

Jen enjoys seeing the progress and growth with each member as they travel further down the road on their fitness journey and believes that the unique environment, diversity in programming and skill of the Coaching staff at Sailor Jacks is truly what make this such a special place!
